v2.29.7July 27, 2026
- •Orders load instantly, however many files you have. The orders list used to get slower
- •Reports and the aging list are much faster too, along with signing in and opening an order.
v2.29.4July 17, 2026
- •Compliance rule accuracy pass complete (SC–WY + federal). All 50 states, DC, and the federal pack have now been verified against current law. This pass: South Carolina's rollback period corrected to 3 years (2021 change), Washington's resale-certificate rule now cites both statutes, and the federal FinCEN item reflects the current appeal status.
v2.29.3July 17, 2026
- •Compliance rule accuracy pass (NH–RI). New Hampshire's notice rule now covers the newer PFAS and flood-risk notification requirements; Rhode Island's cesspool rule reflects the 12-month replacement-at-transfer requirement. Rule helper-text corrections now flow to existing agencies automatically (your customized rules are never touched).
v2.29.2July 17, 2026
- •Compliance rule accuracy pass (GA–MA). Georgia's intangible tax rule now reflects the 2025 62-month exemption change; added Idaho's community-property spouse joinder rule and Louisiana's express redhibition-waiver rule.
v2.29.1July 17, 2026
- •Compliance rule accuracy pass (AL–FL). Added Alabama nonresident withholding and redemption-rights rules, and corrected statute citations in the Alaska and California packs.
v2.29.0July 17, 2026
- •All 50 states + DC now covered. The final 26 compliance packs are here — every US jurisdiction now has statute-cited starter rules. Highlights: Hawaii's HARPTA withholding, Iowa's abstract/Title Guaranty system, Louisiana's civil-law act-of-sale and redhibition rules, DC's TOPA tenant-rights compliance, Vermont's land gains tax and Act 250 permits, and recording blockers in Kansas, Nebraska, Montana, West Virginia, and Wyoming. No more "coming soon" — pick any state in your rule book and it's ready.
v2.28.0July 17, 2026
- •Five more states: Massachusetts, Minnesota, Indiana, Missouri, and Wisconsin. Statute-cited packs covering MA Title 5 septic inspections, smoke/CO certificates and Municipal Lien Certificates, Minnesota's well disclosure certificate and eCRV recording requirements, Indiana's assessor-approved Sales Disclosure Form (required before the deed can record), Missouri spousal joinder and occupancy permits, and Wisconsin's Real Estate Condition Report and two-spouse homestead signatures. Now 25 states + federal, 211 starter rules.
- •New Compliance icon. Compliance Rules has its own shield icon in the sidebar.
v2.27.0July 17, 2026
- •Twelve more states — 20 states + federal now covered. Statute-cited compliance packs added for Connecticut, Delaware, Maryland, Virginia, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, California, Arizona, Colorado, and Washington. Highlights: attorney-closing requirements in CT/DE/GA/NC/SC, nonresident seller withholding in MD (8.75% as of 2026), GA, SC, CO, and CA, North Carolina's LiensNC lien-agent check, Colorado metro-district and mineral-estate notices, California's NHD and Los Angeles ULA tax thresholds, and Washington's graduated REET. 176 starter rules total — existing agencies get the new packs automatically, customizations untouched.
v2.26.0July 17, 2026
- •New: Federal compliance pack on every order. FIRPTA withholding, lead-based paint disclosure, 1099-S reporting, TRID Closing Disclosure timing, flood-insurance determination, OFAC screening, and a FinCEN reporting status check now attach to every file automatically — no state needed. Find them under Federal — All Orders in your Compliance Rules.
- •Deeper state packs. Added the items agencies asked about most: Florida documentary stamps and intangible tax, New York mortgage recording tax (with CEMA note) and NYC recording package, New Jersey municipal CCO and association resale certificates, Texas HOA resale certificates and coastal notices, and more — 96 starter rules total across 8 states plus federal.
v2.25.0July 17, 2026
- •Four more states: Texas, Ohio, Michigan, and Illinois compliance packs. Statute-cited starter rules for the biggest independent title-agent markets — including Texas MUD/PID notices and 50(a)(6) home-equity requirements (which attach only on refinances), Ohio dower releases, Michigan's Property Transfer Affidavit (with the 2025 penalty changes), and Illinois municipal transfer stamps and condo resale disclosures. Existing agencies get the new packs automatically; your customized rules for other states are untouched.
v2.24.1July 17, 2026
- •Smarter starter compliance rules. The NJ, NY, FL, and PA starter packs now cite the actual statutes behind each requirement and cover recent law changes — including New Jersey's 2025 seller-paid mansion-tax tiers and flood disclosure, New York's mandatory Property Condition Disclosure Statement, and Florida's 2024 flood disclosure and foreign-buyer affidavit requirements. Each item includes a short explanation of what to do and why. As always, verify against your underwriter's requirements.
v2.24.0July 17, 2026
- •New: State compliance checklists. Every order now gets a built-in compliance checklist — curative work, lien waivers, and disclosures — generated automatically from the property's state and transaction type. Mark items Satisfied or Waived, add notes, and see at a glance how many required items are still outstanding. Find it on the new Compliance tab on each order.
- •Your own rule book, per state. A new Compliance Rules page (under Production) lets you customize the rules for every state you close in. We've included starter packs for New Jersey, New York, Florida, and Pennsylvania, with more states coming soon — and you can add your own rules for any state right now.
- •It keeps itself up to date. Change an order's property state or transaction type and the checklist re-checks itself automatically. Starter rules are general guidance — always verify against your underwriter's requirements.
v2.23.4July 16, 2026
- •Already signed in? The site takes you straight in. Clicking "Portal Login" on our website while you were already signed in used to sign you out and make you log in again. Now it takes you straight to your dashboard.
v2.23.3July 16, 2026
- •No more surprise sign-outs during updates — if the app happened to load right as we were shipping an update, it could send you to the sign-in screen even though you were still signed in. It now waits a moment for the connection to come back and keeps you where you were.
v2.23.2July 15, 2026
- •Stay signed in longer — regular use now keeps you logged in for up to 14 days, so you're not signing back in all the time.
v2.23.1July 14, 2026
- •Removing a ticket now only clears it from your list — the conversation stays with our support team, so nothing is lost if you need us to look it up later. If we reply, the thread comes back so you can read it.
v2.23.0July 14, 2026
- •We email you when support replies — a reply now lands in your inbox as well as in the app, so you never have to check back to find out whether we answered.
- •Feature requests get an answer too — when a feature you asked for is resolved and shipped, we email you.
v2.22.2July 13, 2026
- •The Complimentary access banner can now be dismissed — click the ✕ and it stays closed. Your status is always on the Billing page, so there's no need for a bar on every screen. (If your complimentary period changes, the note reappears once.)
v2.22.1July 13, 2026
- •The welcome tour now lives on the Support → Help & Guides page — replay it any time from there (it used to be tucked away in My Account).
- •If your account is complimentary — on the house — the Billing page now says so plainly, instead of showing a subscription warning or an old payment status.
v2.22.0July 11, 2026
- •A welcome tour for new users — the first time someone signs in, TitleVault Pro now walks them through the app in about a minute: what each screen is for and where to start. Owners and staff each get their own version.
- •Replay it whenever you like — Replay tour lives in My Account, and a Don't show this again button retires it for good.
v2.21.0July 9, 2026
- •Refer & Earn 🎁 — share your referral code or link from the Billing page. Agencies that sign up with it get their first month free, and you earn a free month every time one of them subscribes. No limit.
- •The sign-up form now has an optional referral code field — referral links fill it in automatically.
v2.19.0July 4, 2026
- •Subscribing is now a smoother, in-app experience — a secure Stripe checkout opens right inside TitleVault instead of a separate card form.
v2.18.5July 3, 2026
- •Signing in from the website now always opens the sign-in screen — no more landing back in the live demo.
- •Added a Back to website link on the sign-in screen so you can return to the homepage after signing out.
v2.18.0July 2, 2026
- •Suspended accounts can now reach Billing. If your organization's account is paused, the owner can still sign in to review the plan, invoices, and next steps instead of being locked out entirely.
v2.16.1June 22, 2026
- •The Preview tab in the template editor now shows the same separated, letter-size pages as the document view, so you can see your page breaks, header, and footer while you build a template.
v2.16.0June 22, 2026
- •Document previews now look like real pages. Generated, template, and combined documents display as separate letter-size sheets — with repeating headers/footers and a "Page 1 of N" marker — instead of one long scroll, so you see exactly where each page breaks.
- •Delete several documents at once. Tick the documents on a file and use Delete Selected to clear them in one step.
- •Document Recycle Bin. Deleted documents are now kept for 30 days before being permanently removed. Open the Recycle Bin on a file's Documents tab to restore anything, or delete it for good.
v2.15.0June 22, 2026
- •Turn features on or off for your agency. In Settings → Features & Modules, owners can hide modules you don't use — Calendar, Contacts, Workflows, Trust Accounting, Reports, Share Links, and individual order tabs (Commitment, Settlement, Invoice, Escrow, Client Portal). Switch them back on anytime; nothing is deleted.
- •Set due dates on any task. You can now add or change a due date right on every task, including the standard checklist items each order starts with — not just tasks you add yourself.
- •Richer document templates. Insert pictures from your computer, and add a page header and footer that repeat on every printed page (great for letterhead and disclaimers). There's also a Page break button to start content on a new page.
- •Cleaner document previews and printing. Generated, template, and combined documents now lay out as separate pages instead of one long scroll — each document starts on its own page.
v2.14.0June 19, 2026
- •Your agency now includes a ready-made Invoice template, so the Invoice tab's template picker works right away.
v2.13.0June 19, 2026
- •One place for invoices. The order Invoice tab now has a single Invoice template picker — the template you choose is what prints *and* what's saved to the Documents tab, both with the file's billed charges filled in.
- •The Starter Template Library now opens with everything unchecked, so you add only the templates you want.
v2.12.1June 19, 2026
- •You can now generate an invoice from any saved Invoice template (it fills in the file's billed charges), and the Send to QuickBooks button now appears on the Invoice tab.
v2.12.0June 19, 2026
- •Calendar subscriptions. Subscribe to your closings and task deadlines in Google, Outlook, or Apple Calendar — a private feed for your own files and an agency-wide feed for owners/managers, both on the Integrations page. They refresh automatically.
- •QuickBooks Online. Connect your QuickBooks company and push a file's invoice and escrow ledger straight to QuickBooks from the order's Invoice tab.
- •Cleaner Integrations page, reorganized so it's easier to find what you need.
v2.10.1June 19, 2026
- •Your Billing page now clearly shows what each plan includes — office-location limits, and which features are Professional and above.
v2.10.0June 19, 2026
- •Multiple office locations. Agencies with more than one office can now manage each address under Settings → Office Locations, mark a primary, and tag any order to the office that's handling it — the assigned office's address then prints on that file's invoice. Available by plan: Starter 1 office, Professional up to 3, Enterprise unlimited.
- •Clearer plan tiers. Reports & profitability and branded client share links are now part of the Professional plan and above (free trials include them so you can try everything).
v2.8.0June 19, 2026
- •Cleaner sidebar. The left menu is now grouped into labeled sections so related pages sit together.
- •"Create Label" is the new name for the shipping button on an order (clearer than "Ship").
- •Bug fixes and layout polish.
v2.7.0June 18, 2026
- •FedEx shipping terms & disclaimers. The Integrations page and the label-creation window now show the required FedEx disclaimer and trademark notice (FedEx is an independent carrier; shipments are governed by the FedEx Service Guide).
- •End User License Agreement at sign-up. When you set up your account you now review and accept the End User License Agreement & Terms (which include the FedEx shipping terms). You can read it any time at the EULA link on the setup screen.
- •Extra protection on FedEx setup. Adding or changing your FedEx account number now asks for a two-factor verification code (if you have 2FA turned on), so account connections can't be changed without it.
v2.6.0June 16, 2026
- •FedEx shipping is now connect-once. Connect by entering just your FedEx account number + ship-from address on the Integrations page — no API keys for staff. Labels still save to the order's Documents.
- •Invoices are now built like any other document. A new Invoice template category (with `{{invoice_items}}`, `{{invoice_total}}`, `{{bill_to}}` merge fields) plus ready-made invoice designs in the Starter library — design as many invoice looks as you like and generate one with the file's real charges inserted.
- •In-app and email notifications are separately customizable in Settings — choose exactly which events ding inside the app vs. which send email.
- •The dashboard "What's New" card can be dismissed (it returns when there's a new release).
v2.5.0June 16, 2026
- •FedEx shipping (introduced). Generate a FedEx label right from an order — saved to the file's Documents and ready to print. Gated by a new “Create shipping labels” permission (Users → Roles & Permissions). (Connection flow simplified in v2.6.0.)
- •Classic navy & blue is back as the default look (you can still switch themes via the paint-swatch icon). The marketing site returns to the navy/blue look too, and the mobile "Start free trial" button no longer wraps.
- •What's New, at a glance. The dashboard now shows a peek of the latest updates with a link to the full list.
- •Client-portal notifications. Get an in-app alert (and optional email) when a client sends a message or uploads a document through their closing tracker — toggle the emails under Settings → Email Notifications.
- •Invoice template moved alongside your other templates — customize it from the Templates page as well as the Invoice tab.
v2.4.0June 16, 2026
- •Developer API & integrations. A new Integrations page (owners) to generate API keys, configure webhooks (signed JSON on order created / status changed / closed), and read the REST API reference. The v1 REST API lets other systems list/create orders and read contacts — enabling Zapier/Make automations and lender order import today, with a directory of planned partner connectors (e-recording, RON, wire verification, QuickBooks, underwriter ordering).
- •Refreshed Help & Guides covering all the new tools — Contacts, Calendar, Workflows, Commitments, Trust Accounting, the rate calculator, ALTA/HUD/CD statements, the client portal, invoice templates, and themes.
v2.3.0June 16, 2026
- •Workflows now has its own sidebar link — no more digging through Templates to reach it.
- •Templates section, improved. Search and filter by category, templates grouped by type, one-click Duplicate, and a new Starter library of common title/escrow letters (commitment cover, clear-to-close, wire-fraud warning, closing confirmation, payoff request, tax/HOA request) you can add and edit.
- •Custom invoice template. Personalize the printed invoice — intro line, payment terms, footer, and whether to show your logo — with merge fields. "Customize" lives on any order's Invoice tab.
- •Your logo on the client tracker. The consumer closing portal now shows your agency logo (and uses it as the page icon/title) when one is set in Settings → Branding.
- •Closing trackers auto-expire 60 days after closing (fixed). Uploaded documents and messages are always kept; one click re-enables a tracker for another 60 days.
v2.2.0June 16, 2026
- •Client portal auto-expiry. Closing trackers automatically go offline 60 days after the closing date; uploaded documents and messages are always retained, and you can re-enable a tracker anytime.
v2.1.0June 16, 2026
- •Trust accounting with 3-way reconciliation. A new Trust Acct page ties out your book balance, file ledgers (trial balance), and the cleared bank balance, with a guided bank-statement reconciliation and a full check register.
- •Check writing. Disbursement-by-check now auto-assigns the next check number and prints a formatted check (amount in words) ready for check stock.
- •Rate & fee calculator. Estimate title premiums (tiered, with reissue & simultaneous-issue), recording fees, transfer tax, settlement and endorsement fees — then push the results straight onto the settlement statement. Defaults are editable to match your state/underwriter.
- •Named settlement statements. Print ALTA Settlement Statements (Combined / Buyer / Seller), a HUD-1, and a Closing Disclosure summary from your settlement lines.
- •Client portal — uploads & secure messaging. Buyers and sellers can now upload requested documents and exchange secure messages with your team right from their closing tracker; you see and reply on the order's Client Portal tab.
v2.0.0June 16, 2026
- •A fresh, modern look. TitleVault Pro has been redesigned from the ground up — cleaner layouts, smoother interactions, and a new top bar with instant search (press / anywhere).
- •Choose your look. A new theme switcher (the paint-swatch icon, top right) lets you pick from six polished appearances — Aurora, Slate, Emerald, Navy & Gold, Sunset, and a dark Midnight mode. Your choice sticks.
- •Title commitments & policies. Produce ALTA-style commitments and policies right on the order — Schedule A, Schedule B-I requirements and B-II exceptions — then print or save to PDF.
- •Workflow automation. Build milestone workflows once; applying one to an order generates a full, dated task checklist (due dates calculated from the closing date) and seeds the client tracker.
- •Closing calendar. A month calendar of every upcoming closing and task deadline across all your files.
- •Contacts / CRM. Keep a reusable directory of lenders, agents, underwriters and attorneys, and drop them straight onto an order with “Fill from Contacts.”
- •Client closing portal. Share a branded, login-free tracking link so buyers, sellers, agents and lenders can follow the closing on a live status timeline.
- •Everything from earlier versions is still here — orders, documents, settlement, escrow, reports, billing and more.
v1.8.1June 16, 2026
- •Scan a QR code to add your authenticator app. When you add an optional authenticator app under My Account → Two-Factor Authentication, you can now just scan a QR code (manual key entry is still there as a backup).
v1.8.0June 16, 2026
- •Account management polish. The organization owner account can no longer be accidentally deactivated, and the user edit screen is clearer about it.
v1.7.0June 16, 2026
- •Roles & Permissions moved to the Users page. Managing what each role can do now lives right alongside your team on the Users page. Owners can also grant a trusted manager the new "Edit roles & permissions" ability so they can manage it too.
- •Clearer account & security screen. The My Account window has been tidied up — two-factor authentication now has one simple place to enter your code, with clearly labeled buttons to regenerate backup codes or turn 2FA off.
- •Add an authenticator app (optional). If you use a password manager or authenticator app, you can now add one as a second way to get your sign-in code — handy if you'd rather not wait for the email. Emailed codes stay on as the default.
- •In-app activity notifications. See a quick heads-up (with an optional soft chime) when teammates open a new order, change a file's status, or complete a task. Mute the sound anytime with the bell in the sidebar.
v1.6.0June 16, 2026
- •Recycle Bin for orders. Deleting an order now moves it to a Recycle Bin instead of erasing it. Open it from the Recycle Bin button on the Orders page to restore a file exactly as it was, or remove it for good. Anything left in the bin is automatically deleted after 30 days.
- •Friendlier welcome. Your dashboard now greets you by name with a little daily encouragement.
- •Manage your support tickets. You can now delete a support ticket you no longer need from the ticket view.
v1.5.0June 15, 2026
- •Sign in with your email. Your email address is now your login — no more usernames to remember. (If you used a username before, it still works, but email is the way forward.)
- •Easy, secure onboarding for new users. When you add a teammate, they get a welcome email with a link to set their own password — you no longer create or share a temporary password. Two-factor sign-in (an emailed 6-digit code) is turned on for them automatically. If email isn't set up for your workspace yet, you'll get a one-time link to share with them directly.
- •Managers can manage users. Owners and managers can now invite, edit, and remove team members. (Role permissions and billing remain owner-only.)
- •Forgot your password? The reset screen now just asks for your email.
- •Start a trial in minutes. New agencies can sign themselves up online and be set up automatically — no waiting on us.
v1.3.0June 15, 2026
- •Two-factor authentication by email. You can now turn on two-factor sign-in that emails you a 6-digit code each time you log in — no separate authenticator app required. Enable it from the account menu (gear icon, bottom-left) under Two-Factor Authentication. You'll still get one-time backup codes to keep somewhere safe in case you can't reach your email.
- •Email verification. New accounts and any email change now get a confirmation link, so the address on file is always real. If your email isn't confirmed yet, you'll be prompted to verify it before signing in (with a one-click option to resend the link).
- •Update your own email. You can now change the email address on your account from the account menu, protected by your password. Changing it sends a fresh confirmation link.
v1.2.0June 15, 2026
- •Remember this computer for 30 days (two-factor login). If you use two-factor authentication, you can now check "Remember this computer for 30 days" when you enter your code. On that computer you won't be asked for a code again for 30 days. Using a shared or public computer? Leave it unchecked. You can clear all remembered computers anytime from the account menu (gear icon, bottom-left) under Two-Factor Authentication.
- •What's New page. This page! We'll post product updates here so you can always see the latest improvements to TitleVault Pro.
- •Cancel anytime. You can cancel your subscription whenever you like from the Billing page. You keep full access through the end of your current paid period — after that the account is paused automatically, and you can reactivate anytime by choosing a plan again.
v1.1.0June 14, 2026
- •Stronger sign-in security. New password strength requirements, automatic lockout after repeated failed attempts, and email alerts when a blocked sign-in is attempted on your account.
- •Forgot your password? You can now reset your own password from the sign-in screen using the email on file for your account.
- •Clearer trial reminders. Friendlier heads-up emails before a free trial ends, so nothing is interrupted unexpectedly.
v1.0.0June 13, 2026
- •Welcome to TitleVault Pro. Orders and parties, task checklists, WYSIWYG document templates with merge fields and letterhead, document uploads and combined PDF export, CD-style settlement statements, escrow ledgers, dashboards and a full reports suite, secure document share links, and two-factor authentication.
Routine fixes and maintenance ship in between these releases — we only list the changes you’d actually notice.
